Apropos of not much, what do you think of Within Temptation? I youtubed up a video (don't remember which one) and liked it, but not sure if I was into it enough to buy some. I'd heard them described as symphonic metal, which I dig, but it wasn't quite there.

My experience of them is limited to one CD, The Heart of Everything, but I think it's by and large smokin' good. They've been compared to Evanescence, only with a more symphonic backing, which I think is pretty accurate.

I'll have to put it on my list. Don't have the money to buy much new music now other than the odd single from iTunes, and when I do, I've been tending towards film scores.
